Combined with Panasonic's underwater housing, the color and sharpness of the underwater pics by this camera are unmatched in the point and shoot realm. Combine the 10x optical zoom (which I haven't found on any other point and shoot) and the ability to zoom in/out DURING video (why this isn't an option in all digital cameras is a mystery since my cell phone has been able to do it for ages) is a welcome addition over the TZ3. Another addition over the TZ3 is the HD video capability at 720p resolution. Just make sure you get a big SD card.
