Description
With the Panasonic DMW-MCTZ5 waterproof case for the Panasonic DMC-TZ5, DMC-TZ4, DMC-TZ11 and DMC-TZ15, you can use your digital camera to take underwater photos at depths of up to 130' (40 m). It is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.
A diffuser for the camera's flash is built onto the housing. This helps when using the camera's internal flash. For better results underwater, use the internal flash to trigger a slaved external strobe like those made by Fantasea, Sea & Sea, Ikelite, or Sealife. The camera has an underwater mode setting for available light photography.

I used this on a boat dive down to 105 feet and had no problems with leaking. Buttons all worked great although the dial at the top to change scene options is a little touchy. Has a nice glass cover over the lense for great shots. I would reccomend getting an external flash or light for it, pictures turn out pretty dark using camera flash.

This housing is great for photos in full on sheet rain as well as underwater shots. In general it doesn't fog and seals perfect if you follow the instructions and apply new silicone with each new adventure. I was a little surprised by the weight but if you are diving, its probably a good thing... in fact Panasonic even includes extra weights to help stabilize your photos underwater. All in all I love this product. Wish it were cheaper than the camera its protecting but what are you going to do?... fry your camera or just miss those photos? No way!

Absolutely the best investment I've made for my camera! Easy to load camera, easy to see viewer underwater with a snorkel mask on, gorgeous pictures and true colors. If you snorkel or dive, quit buying the disposable cameras and invest in this - you won't be sorry. I've recommended this to all my friends.
