Great little vacuum

Great little light vac with good suction. Turbo brush not very efficient on thicker pile carpet. I returned a [$] Hoover wind tunnel vac that had a great turbo type brush but blew the dirt all over the place due to poor design of brush head connector. This little guy has good power, no dirt escapes to get blown around, not noisy and all of it was obviously designed by people who actually use vacuums (unlike the Hoover) - everything is easy to use, take apart, change bags etc. Best on lower pile or oriental type rugs and bare floors. Lots of nice features like the unexpected "parking positions" that hold the handle upright in place when storing it or just in between rooms while you answer the phone (much better than having the whole thing sprawling across the floor.)Great for the price. My final comment - DO NOT BUY A BAGLESS VAC (like the Hoover)- emptying the dirt container of a bagless vac makes such a mess of your hands, the whole vac and your garbage can, that it's not worth the savings of paper bags. Once again - I love this little Panasonic.

We have a very small apartment with a dog, a cat, hard surface floors and a few rugs. This vacuum is quite good for handling both hard flooring and the low-pile rugs that we have. It's been fantastic for picking up hair. I recently had a friend over who's allergic to the cat and he had no problems! I do wish that the recoiler spring for the power cord was a bit stronger. It can sometimes be a pain to get the cord all the way back in. It's not a quiet vacuum! For the money, however, I'd be surprised if one could find much better.

This is a good canister vacuum. I had first gotten the Hoover canister vacuum, but it kept falling apart. This was more expensive, but is small, easy to store, and gets the job done. Kind of hard to use on carpet, and does not do the best job on thick carpet, but gets the job done. Is a bit noisy. But again, is a great vacuum for a small place that is mainly hardwood. Has a great long cord. Easy to use.

This is an awesome little vacuum. It's light and easy enough for me to carry with my wrist and back problems. I bought this after my Oreck died and this one is far superior. It is more quiet and efficient than even my previously owned Rainbow, and does all my carpets and floors well with the brush height and suction adjustments. My kids can use it too because it has a telescoping pole. The only complaints that I have are that the cord and pole could be a little longer, and it would be great if I could get the bags other than just one store online. Overall, a great vacuum at an unbeatable price!
