I took a chance and bought two of these, and was surprised at how good they sound with a little bit of EQ'ing. The rated power handling is also believable. My sub amp hits each of them with roughly 700 watts, and with pretty much everything below 30hz rolled off, they take it without any obvious distortion or any hint of over-excursion. I use these subs to reinforce a small band for medium size crowds (300-500 people). They don't quite keep up with my mains, but I didn't really expect that much output from a couple of 15's. I just turn down the mains a little bit to get the balance, and still have plenty of SPL to cover a decent sized room. At the price, getting two more of them and a more powerful amp is very feasible. What is nice about them is how compact and lightweight they are. Ideal for a weekend warrior who has to set up and tear down alone without fear of injuring one's back.

I use 2 with 2 10"satelite speakers and they sound really good . The price was great
