No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I read the reviews saying the gauge wasn't accurate. I ordered these knowing they probably wouldn't be as heavy gauge as described, but I was still blown away at just how far off the descriptions were. Don't waste your money thinking you can use these wires, I had to buy all new wires which were a lesser gauge and ended up being thicker than these.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
No way is this 8 gauge wire. The O.D. might be 8 gauge but the copper is maybe 16 gauge. The speaker wire is also not the gauge it states. The only usefull items in this package is the fuse holder and the RCA cables.

"Nice Kit, especially if ...

Nice Kit, especially if you're on a budget. RCA's are shielded, blue and have gold, 90 degree connects. Accesories and Fuse Holder/Fuse were nicer then expected. Using this kit to run a Power Acoustik LT720/4 and it sounds AWESOME! Power and Ground cables were a little thinner then expected, but that does not seem to matter - For the price, definately one of the better kits out there.

"I purchased the Wire Kit ...

I purchased the Wire Kit for my JVC Amp and Subwoofer. The quality of all the componets was great except the wire ties, I had to use other ones because the ones in the kit keep breaking. But all else was great. I would recommend this to anyone, just check wire size for your Amp and buy to those specs.
