i thought the pyle series was a good investment. It has decent sound quality, and the cutout for the holes for my factory mazda werent lined up.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought 4 of these and installed them in a 36"x19"x13" enclosure (3/4" MDF) with a 15" sub; the sub has a 300w amp on low pass, and the speakers have a 300w amp on high pass. If I give them any midrange at all they get overwhelmed-- the midrange sounds harsh and distorted. They barely handle any bass. I'm going to do some research and spend a little more $$ to get some speakers that are able to project, yet have a little warmth.
