No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The antenna didn't help with reception. The strand of wire I was using before was just as good. I do NOT recommend buying this product.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have it hooked up to my 52in plasma.I dont want cable so I needed something better than rabbit ears. Works great! I dont have to get up anymore to adjust the antenna.
