Cons:

Describe Yourself:

Primary use:

Business

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Stevie Stevie Stevie, you need to know the frequency ranges of the devices your using and whether it a power pass device and it if is a passive device. READ THE SPECS!!! and then you will know why your setup did not work. This product is perfect for what it is designed for and if installed properly will work for most home and business uses. Only down side is the dB isolation from port to port needs to be around 130dB, this one spected out around 82dB. Not recommended for commercial or production uses.

Not compatible with DirecTV/cable combo

By Stevieboy1101 Verified Purchaser from Lakeland, FL on 06/18/2009

Pros:

Easy To Set Up

Cons:

Low Quality Picture

Describe Yourself:

Enthusiast

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have the following receivers - HD-DVR - HR22-100, DVR - R22-100, Standard - D12-100 with standard cable (no boxes)provided by Bright House Networks. Hooked the first diplexer up at incoming end, connected to 8 way splitter and tested individual feeds on each outlet end for both feeds. When I added diplxers at TV/receiver end the cable picture was there, but DirecTV receivers could not pick up any signal at all. Was fine before diplexer introduced. Not sure where the problem lies here. Reverted back to original setup for now as I may end up dumping DirecTV anyway since we lose signal every storm and need to rely on cable to get news on severe weather.
