I tried 2 other portable tvs that were unacceptable. This one is great. Pic quality is unequaled. User interface is excellent. Tuner is good but sensitivity appears to be somewhat diminished by comparatively narrow frequency range limit (selectivity too narrow). Has sleep timer auto-shutoff feature. Electronic program guide works nicely on ATSC stations. Supports large number of closed-caption formats. Audio is decent but could be louder and less tinny. Unit runs for about 2 hours 45 mins on the easily-replaceable 3000mah lithium rechargeable battery. Stand is robust, display tilt range is excellent. Cig lighter cable is included. Overall, engineering is excellent. Remote works nicely. Both power and volume controllable via remote, power can be conserved by turning unit entirely off via switch. (If turned off by the remote, you must keep remote with you or you won't be able to turn it back on). As usual, an external antenna is needed unless you are in an ideal reception area (included whip antennas are useless for VHF). Suggest Artec AN2 antenna for portable use or around the house. Perfect for RV use. Older RV amplified antennas should work fine for ATSC.
