An inline flaring tool is a great concept and allows for making flares ON the vehicle. I like the fact that the one tool can flare many sizes and types of tubing. It works best when the tubing is cut very cleanly and squarely AND the inside and outside "burrs" are removed first. The things that could use improvement. 1. The threads in the anvils are poorly made. Most were "cut" threads, and were marginal at best. One anvil included in the kit had cast threads and seemed much stronger and less likely to slip or strip. I hope that future versions of the tool have cast threads for all anvils. 2. Other tools do not require "eye-balling" the length needed to make a proper flare. It would make the tool better if one could just push in the tubing to a "stop" to always get the proper length.
