Do not use the handle to tighten; it will come loose.
Do not PACK coffee.
DO USE a BURR Grinder and grind rather fine.
Do expect a fine cup of Espresso from this little pot.
I've owned two espresso machines and four small
espresso coffeemakers in different sizes. The size is important to suit your needs. 6 cup is best for my needs.
remember 6 cup means 6 oz - NOT six actual cups of coffee.
My most expensive 2 cup pot was
made in Italy & bought in Canada had a gasket that wore out in 6 months and I couldn't order parts and not large enough.
GASKET Most important: the Imusa GASKET is the best of
all my small espresso makers and the steam doesn't come out the bottom if you make sure it's on tight.
Tighten with a kitchen towel; keep the pressure OFF the handle - OR you will have a loose handle - guaranteed.
Same for cleaning.
Great price - good quality - what more can we ask?
