Great Sound, Simple Controls, Reliable Performance, Sleek/compact, Lots Of Storage
I was so excited to get my hands on one of these Lplayers right after they came out because everyone was talking about it. Cnet gave it an amazing review and I have had iriver products in the past so I thought why not for the price? I received the player and I immediately opened it. The player comes with a dead battery so you have to hook it up to your computer to charge it before you use it. Then the manuals don't give you any hints on how to use the Iriver Plus3 software with the player so you have to test the waters and just change setting until it works. The player game on the drag and drop setting so I had to manually go into the players settings and switch it off that so that Plus3 could see the player hooked up to my computer.... Also the buttons aren't always responsive so I find myself having to press a button twice or even three times to get it do what I want it to do. Its not all bad though, the player has great sound quality and amazing bass. I have pretty low end skullcandies and the player still sounds amazing. It also comes with a bunch of EQ settings for the type of music you listen to. The voice recording isn't the best but for such a small player what do you expect? The only thing the Lplayer is missing features wise is a Flash Games function like the clix has. Overall this player is amazing for the money(on paper), but i wouldn't buy it again.
