The DisplayLink is working well off an external USB hub connected to my iMac. Its major advantage over other USB display adapters is the increased resolutions that it supports for the price. A known problem with the adapter is the buggy behavior of its beta Mac software, which nearly always fails to wake from sleep. There seems to be a significant impact on CPU cycles while it tries to recover, as might be expected with a USB connection. This problem is generally remedied by simply toggling command-option-eject keys (as a unit). I love having the third screen dedicated to static windows like email. Motion is not well supported by this or most other USB display adapters. My four stars is predicated on the hope that Kensington continues to work on the driver issues.
