Ur29 Headphones

By Jon Verified Reviewer from Baltimore, Md. on 03/07/2012

Was this a gift?:

No

Pros:

Good Value, Good Bass, Comfortable

Cons:

Poor Value, Flimsy Construction

Describe Yourself:

Gear Head, Audiophile

Best Uses:

Relaxing, Home Audio, Music, With My Computer

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

All in all you get what you pay for. The Ur29 headphones do color the sound somewhat. The real problem is that they are fragile. Both muffs broke away from the headband when they fell two feet to a carpeted floor. I will be buying new headphones today and they will not be Koss.

I would recommend using metal instead of plastic for the parts of the headphones that have any movement because I've had those break in the past very easily. This would improve your durability. They should come with a carrying case. They should look into making wireless models for blue tooth or wi-fi headphones.
