OPTIMC90

By Speed from Dub, Ireland on 09/17/2012

Pros:

Improves Performance

Cons:

Difficult To Install

Describe Yourself:

Competitive Driver

Best Uses:

Everyday Driving, Replacement

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Instructions are atrocious! Wiring diagram is worse than a Dr Suess book and even they are much clearer. Pictures in manual have nothing to do with install or even shows this product installed! It's working & at least I can hear it over my Cobras on the highway. Too loud & the speakers start to distort but that I can live with for now. I'm still not 100% certain of the speaker wire setup as the manual contradicts itself regarding ground/polarity & diagram "A". I have a tuner that has a male 3.5mm plug & this amp also has a male 3.5mm so I needed to hunt down a male to male connector. Overall, I'm content as I now have my tunes for the road back online.

Lanzar Optimc90 Speakers

By J from St.Louis MO on 05/19/2011

Cons:

Inaccurate Readings, Delicate Setup, Horible Instructions, Difficult To Install

I purchased this item for a reasonable price. I have NOT heard speakers yet due to the fact: the insrtuctions are the worst I've ever seen. No diagram of how hardware is to be installed, also had to purchase a lot of extra "stainless" hardware to install. Don't like the wiring assembly. I'm actually mechanically and electrically inclined, but had to engineer a lot of hardware and install to my own desire. Hope the system sounds a lot better than the installation. I will review later.

Satisfied for the price

By 2k-king from St. Louis, MO on 06/18/2010

Pros:

Loud Enough To Hear, Good Quality, Value For The Price, Plenty Of Wire, Enough Accesories, T-tap Included

Cons:

Mounting Options For Amp, Poor Directions, Clamps Are A Challenge

Best Uses:

Handlebar Mount Speakers

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Sounds good until you get too loud and it will start to distort. No problems hearing on the highway. Included volume control is a roller switch that seems to be really loud or too low, but it's still new so it may get less touchy over time. Overall better than I expected for a lot less with accesories than what cycle sounds wants for a lot less wattage. Took several hours to install including getting wires tucked away. The inclued handlebar clamps are very difficult to make work but they finally did.
