I am very unhappy with the Omnimount speaker brackets. I bought them to mount my Bose surround speakers to the walls.
The issues are several - the mounting brackets come fully assembeled however, the first thing you have to do is take them apart to fit them to the speakers. This accomplished using a tiny Hex nut key (supplied).
Once fitted to the speakers you can set the angle of the 'elbow bend' in the mounting post. This is accomplished using the same Hex key on a compression joint. The problem is that there is no material in the joint so, with the weight of the speakers on the wall, the joint simply slips until the speaker is pointing straight down. I have had to take down 2 of the brackets and glue the joint in the desired position. The only reason this is on 2 and not all 5 of the brackes is because I have not touched the others - a wrong look will cause them to slip (the Bose speakers are quite heavy).
Thirdly, the quality of the supplied Hex key is poor and, with all the tightening and loosening of the 'screws' the key has become badly worn and now slips when trying to tighten.
I would not recommend these.
