Frustrated user

By dogwalker from Undisclosed on 01/24/2013

Pros:

Durable

Cons:

Expensive

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My main complaint is with the very short duration of the battery charge. Sometimes we get a beep alerting us that the phone's about to go dead, but sometimes we don't - it just dies. When I hear the warning beep, I can't just switch to the 2nd handset to continue my conversation, I have to switch to my old (2005) handset to avoid being cut off completely. I don't ever remember the charge dying on our 2005 Panasonic phones, 2 of them just wore out with age. I'm glad we kept the third.

Extremely Satisfied

By Joe from Houston, Texas on 10/20/2012

Pros:

Inexpensive, Convenient, Durable, Answering System Options, Exceeded Expectations, Paging Ring Always Available, Easy To Use

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This phone is used in a commercial application 10 hours a day - 6 days a week. The handsets have been dropped numerous times and everything still works well after about 10 years! We walk around with the phones so the ringer is turned off (we can hear the base unit) but we can still get a page. And if we misplace a phone (it happens often) we can always find it with the page (even with the ringer turned off). We set the answering system to indicate our hours of operation, etc in our business and use the 'answer only - do not leave a message' option. A very unique feature!! We tried other phones but they felt small #small buttons#, cheap and not heavy duty like the Panasonic. Excellent and unique product!! Thanks.

Nice system

By happy camper from Undisclosed on 01/02/2010

Pros:

Exceeded Expectations, Easy To Use, Durable, Convenient

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We had purchased several different phone systems from different manufacturers over a 5 year period. All promised to do the same thing, but this system is the only one that delivered. I am one satisfied customer, and seeking to expand it to 4 phones from 2.

unhappy caller

By teacherd from so cal on 05/23/2009

Pros:

Durable, Easy To Use

Cons:

Did Not Meet Expectations, Poor Quality, Expensive

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have owned this unit for several years. The voice volume quality has been poor from the outset. Later on I found that the handsets will just stop working with no warning. After a charge they will work for a short time (few minutes max) and then stop again. I have always charged the battery and then run it all the way down before charging, so that is not the issue. It is a poor quality battery problem. The other issue is that the caller id does not display the 2nd caller id when the handset is in use.

This is a nice 2 line ...

By Keenen M Verified Reviewer from Undisclosed on 08/22/2006

This is a nice 2 line phone. I don't use the answering machine as I happen to like my old digital machine but the phones themselves have great range and are clear as a bell. There is 1 problem with the phone - When you get an incoming phone call and you answer it, it will appear as a missed call on all the other handsets. In my case, I have the base and 3 remotes and I normally answer the calls on the base unit so all the remote phones show ALL incoming calls as missed making it is hard to tell on them if you actually miss a call.
