Use the HDHomeRun to pull in OTA HD signals in my area. Works pretty well (antenna issues aside). Integrates well into both Vista and Win7 Media Center. I love streaming HD shows to my laptop over wireless N. Can't wait for the CableCARD version!

I have two media PCs, Nice to have additional tuners for my media PCs that I can also use with any PC on my home netowrk to bring HD shows anywhere in the house over wireless N. Only had one issue with the HD homrerun software, I'm running a Windows Active Directory domain in my house (I do server support for a living). On my Windows 7 boxes joined to the domain, I had to extend the firewall rules added into the home network zone by the HDhomerun software into the domain zone as well. Just a couple of mouse clicks in the Windows firewall control panel, and not likely to be encountered by the average home user. On my media PCs, another desktop, and my laptop (running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit)which are set up like most home user PCs. It just worked flawlessly at initial install with no other additional work required.

Computer Monitor As Hdtv

I planned to buy an LCD HDTV and use it as a computer monitor, but I didn't like the resolution when displaying text from the computer. Instead, I bought the HD HomeRun so I can use a large LCD computer monitor (with higher resolution) as a HDTV. I have tested with a 22" monitor and it looks great. Now I can justify buying a 28" or 30" monitor. :-) The HD HomeRun is a solid product that works as advertised. Some of my Comcast basic-cable channels are not available through the HD HomeRun, but these are probably encrypted QAM channels and not the fault of the HD HomeRun. I do wish you could watch the same stream on multiple computers at once, but with two tuners available and the ability to easily add another HD HomeRun, this is a very minor issue.
