Pros:

Attractive Design, Great Picture, Easy To Set Up

Best Uses:

Home, Tv

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

With a DVD changer, DVD recorder and 2 HD satellite DVR receivers all with HDMI outputs and only one HDMI input on my TV the Sima VS-HD51 was a necessity. Setup was simple and in no time all my components were connected HDMI. The build quality is excellent. As all my components are connected using 3 foot cables I haven't had need of the signal boost feature. With 2 satellite receivers on all the time I don't use the auto switch feature. The included remote works very well to switch inputs. For the two months I have been using the device on two occasions I have lost signal from a source and had to unplug and reconnect the cable on the switcher to restore the picture, otherwise it has performed very well with excellent picture quality. I would rather have had the 5th input on the rear intead of the front. I guess maybe HD camcorders might have an HDMI output otherwise I don't know what other device I would need to connect from the front. I'm hoping Microsoft will come out with an HDMI connection for the Xbox 360. Overall I would highly recommend the Sima VS-HD51
