I installed the unit in my '05 Accord and it works great. It makes my Serius radio sound much better than with the FM modulator. The only issue I hit was the device came with an incorrect internal jumper setting and I had to contact soundgate support to resolve the problem. After a quick email with them, I was up and running (although I had to remove the device to make the change and then re-install). Overall I am very happy with the converter.

Works well, not too bad to install...

I installed this on my accord (2005 LX) and it was fairly easy to install. It was not working consistantly when I first installed it but an email to the manufacturer uncovered a bad jumper setting. Once I corrected that problem, I had no issues other than needing a ground isolator to keep the hum and alternator noise down since my siruis radio is connected to power. Overall I am happy with the product, but you think it would have shipped with the correct jumper settings...

I used this product on my 2004 Honda Accord with factory Nav and xm radio. It took me a few days, two trips to the dealership, a call to honda, and a call to Soundgate to figure it all out, but I did! I have no doubt that a person who knows more about car stereos could do it without breaking a sweat though. After buying a ground loop isolator (an extra plug that takes away a buzzing sound when simultaneously charging an ipod in the car),a female/female adaptor, and using a 3.5mm cable extender everything worked perfectly! The reality is, if you have navigation and xm, you know it's going to be tricky since there's so much stuff in your dashboard already. BUT, you can look up some basic steps online and go to your local dealer for help taking everything out so it is alright in the end! Still, it's not something I could imagine a middle aged or older, non techy doing without some additional help. As far as the product goes, it works great! No sound distortion what-so-ever, the volume is not reduced, and can be used for anything that uses a 3.5mm out jack. I would do it again over and over if given the choice since having an ipod hookup in my car is something I've wanted since I bought the car.
