DON'T IGNORE THIS BAD REVIEW LIKE I DID!

By ANNVF Verified Reviewer from CORPUS CHRISTI TX on 09/30/2011

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I thought as you may be thinking that others just had a random bad experience(after all people are more likely to complain than compliment) and that it would not happen to me if I purchased an XO Vision product. Take the time to look at reviews for some of their other products; bad reviews are VERY COMMON. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS! It worked for about 4 months then broke. I contacted customer service and after about two months of them giving me the run around (asking for the same documents I had already sent numerous times) they did NOT honor their manufacturer's warrantee. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON LOSING YOUR MONEY!! BUYERS BEWARE!!

Don't bother...better units for the $$

By JDN2424 Verified Reviewer from New Jersey on 01/29/2009

Cons:

Poor Sound Quality

Describe Yourself:

Frequent Traveler, Gearhead

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

First of all the screen hangs about 1/2" below a standard double DIN and covers anything below where the radio is. The menus on this unit look like there are programmed from the late 80's. The radio menu looks ridiculous and there is a constant scrolling message across the bottom that says something about advance audio entertanment system. It is anoying and cannot be changed. It has a visual of equalizer bars that does not correspond to what is playing. Over all the screen menus are very old looking. The slide show function (that can NOT be used during radio play) is next to impossible to figure out. The DVD picture is O.K. The sound quailty is not that great on any function. There is no auto dim with headlights on feature. You can turn down the brightness of the screen but it does not remember the setting when the car is turned off. Overall it is a horrible product and should not be sold. If they were to update the sofware on it, it may be worth buying. But, as of know it is not worth any amount of money.

You get what you pay for

By Spanky Verified Purchaser from New York on 11/17/2007

Cons:

Low Quality, Unrefined ,low End Set Up

Pros:

Good Value, More Options Than Most

Best Uses:

Playing Different Media.

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not refined at all, reminds me of a "beta" test product.Controls are O.K.,touch screen is not that responsive, seems like you have to touch the screen multiple times, just right, on some applications. The DVD's play fine, all different types.USB works fine,as does the SD card.Picture is very good.Trouble tuning in FM stations that were clear on my old unit. All the functions basically work, stress on "basically".You are getting what they say but the way its set up and controlled is low end and untested.Customer service from XOvision is the worst I've ever seen.Good luck finding an English speaking rep. They don't ans. phones or respond to emails.Seems like a "hole in the wall operation" with 2 employees doing everything.Instruction manual sucks too. You'll probably be able to figure out the functions anyway and how the unit operates.
