I purchased this DVD player with both its blu-ray features and its ability to stream Netflix Watch Instantly films directly to my HDTV. I am very happy on both accounts. The setup for TV watching couldnt be simpler. Connect an HDMI cable from the player to your TV or Home Theatre system, and youre in business. In order to take advantage of the Netflix Watch Instantly movies, you have to connect it to your computer. I took advantage of my computers wireless network by adding an Apple Airport Express unit near the player and attaching it via an Ethernet cable, so there is no physical connection to the computer. Once you have set up your Netflix account, you will have a Netflix menu item onscreen. You choose your movies on your computer at the Netflix website, and your selection of movies appears on your TV screen ready to be chosen to watch. The blu-ray picture is incredibly sharp and the sound encompassing. Great machine!

High definition quality from Blue-Ray discs is mind-blowing! 1080 pics are crystal clear. I hooked it upto internet using Linksys WGA600N game adaptor. The firmware upgrade was automatic and a breeze. I signed up for the Netflix membership and instant play function is awesome! The picture quality when it's 4/4 is just like watching a DVD movie. I just love the Netflix instant play.
