Well, obviously I got these because I'm a gamer and wanted some bang for my buck. I was originally looking into getting surround sound headphones. I researched endlessly, only to be dissapointed. I did how ever come across the sennheiser rs 130 wireless headphone which has virtual surround sound, but since they're wireless, I didn't want to deal with the trouble of having to charge them, or having them die on me in a heated match so that's what lead me to the HD 515 G4ME. I was moved by the specs, price, and review so I ultimately decided to go with them instead. And after deep review I am VERY satisfied with them. The acousitcs are stellar, and the bass response is rich and full. With the e.a.r. technolgy, all of the sound is directed into your ear as opposed to the sound just pushing out of the speaker and dispersing randomly, so it's like having invisible ear buds in your ear but with so much more clarity and deep bass but without having a big piece of plastic in your ear. I tried every genre of game with these and it passed all the tests with flying colors. I mainly play first person shooters, and this is where they're potenial is fully unlocked. The sound of the bullets wizzing by, cars exploding, and the sound of the grenade hitting the ground behind me made me feel like I was there. Sometimes I'll just stop playing for a second just to take in the excellent and realistic sound quality I'm experiencing. I also just watched resident evil: regeneration last night, and was yet again blown away how amazing the sound was. I felt like I was right next to Leon and Clair in the thick of the action. All in all, I'm very happy that I have these headphones, and will get so much more use out of them. I recommend these 100% to any gamer out there who wants to add depth, realism, and high quality sound to their gaming. With the low price tag, the sennheiser HD 515 G4ME is an offer that you SHOULD NOT refuse.
