This is my third Sennheiser product. Certainly the best one amongst the three. Sound quality is very good, has a good bass and allows some ambient noise (which I prefer. I really like the carrying case since I have had issues with physical durability of Sennheiser head phones. The only con however is that my ears start to ache after prolonged use.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I use this at work full time. Be it Metallica or A R Rahman, the headphones are awesome :) The Bass is good. I didn't want a noise canceling headphone as I wanted to know if someone was calling me at work. These work best and for the price, you cannot go wrong.I only wish they came with an extension cord.
