Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This display was very easy to setup and has lots of great features like a variety of I/O options, automatic brightness control (which works surprisingly well), and well thought-out menu navigation. I bought it because it seemed like the best 32" 1080p LCD for the money. Some people claim small 1080p displays are a waste , but I think the picture on the Aquos is unbeatable. My only complaints are some distortion with motion (but most likely my source material), and a viewing angle that is more limited than the spec suggests. It seems like the viewing angle is fine as long as you stay on plane with the display. If you're slightly below or above, the viewing angle is reduced dramatically. All in all, a good deal though, especially at this price.

The controls are simple enough, but the remote is a bit slow response and a awkward buttons, no seperate inputs for cable and atsc, but easily fixable. beautiful display, no ghosting or blurred images, sharp colors, great black levels, tv is stunning. would recommend to others!!!!
