This is my primary television. It was easy to setup (tons of connections). Of course, I'm receiving analog signals from cable (yuck), but DVDs, Blue-Ray and games look awesome! Switching the inputs is a little clunky, you have to bring up the input dialog and scroll through your options. As a UI designer, I'm picky though.

I am a video professional who was looking for new display for my home office that could be used as an HDTV and also an additional monitor for my workstation. I work with full HD material, so 1080p was a priority, but I didn't have enough space for a 42" model. If you've looked for 32" 1080p TVs, you know there aren't many options out there, but this little baby had everything I was looking for and then some. I couldn't be happier with the purchase, the design is very attractive and the set is even thinner and lighter than I expected. The picture is amazing, and it has more inputs than I think I'll ever need. I don't think there is a better 32" TV available, and believe me I've looked.

When we first fired up the Sharp LC32D64U it was brilliant on almost every channel. Within a week the images are "modeled" and not crisp. Whether we hit the proverbial "wrong button" or not remains to be diagnosed, but one thing is for sure - there's something that's not so "plug n' play" about this unit and a spurious problem can occur. Hopefully we'll work this out. We mainly watch news, sports, and the occassional movie. The sound quality could be MUCH better but we're not concerned as it's used mainly at night, at low volume so as not to wake kids. But if you're looking for a robust sound with great range, and you're not going to splurge for a unit with a high audio rating, then you may want to reconsider before purchasing this unit. I'm holding out on my final judgement so don't take the "3-star" rating so literally! Sharp is a good company and if needed I'll give their tech support a crack at it. My sense from other reviews is that we're just getting accustomed to the nuances of LCD TVs visa vie your good old robust tube TV with only three things to worry about: On/Off, Vol, and Ch!
