Intended to be used as a gaming monitor. Seems to be working very well. Response time is adequate. Would not suggest it be used for text reading/writing. Not enough spacial resolution.

I use it for DirecTV (1080i) and DVD's. Fantastic picture. None of the banding I've read about in other Sharp products, and no stuck pixels.

Awesome for dvds and video games. Excellent black level and color output. The size is perfect for my small living room needs. From what Ive seen there is no 37 inch tv better than this.
