Most would probably use it for a "4-input to 1-output" function. I needed "1-input to 4-output choices". I could not find anything that could do that until I found the Sima 4x1 Switcher...it works both directions! Nice quality product. Don't hesitate to purchase the Sima Switcher. Thanks!
