Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The Terk improved reception, but the signal booster function didn't completely eliminate the static on weaker FM stations. I found I achieved similar results using about 10 feet of 18 guage speaker wire for an antenna. I kept the Terk though as it looks neater and does serve its purpose. Nice quality build.
