Bought to use in RV with satellite system receiver at front, but 2nd TV in rear. Works Perfectly! Highly recommend for this and most likely other environments.

New square silver model is awful.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Beware that the picture shown is NOT the model they are shipping. There is a new silver square unit that has the same model number. You have to hold your remote within 10 feet of the transmitter to get a response. Even then, it drops a lot of the commands to the receiver. I am returning it.

This unit controls two televisions using one satellite receiver beautifully. The satellite receiver sits next to the television in the family room. Two output RG-6 connection wires from the satellite receiver connect to the televisions in both the family room and master bedroom. Both televisions must monitor the same program, but we are in one room or the other. This unit allows us to use the remote from the bedroom even though the satellite receiver is in the family room. Works great[...]
