This rice cooker can cook rice. It's that simple.
Put in the water - then the rice. push the start button and BAM! - perfect rice every time.

It keeps the rice warm and fresh for many hours.

If you like rice, then you really can't live without a rice cooker of this quality. compact, easy to clean.

Cons: The instructions are in broken english and not very clear, so I haven't tried anything beyond bamati or jasmin rice. (which cooks perfectly)

I primarily am using it to cook brown and wild rice because of health reasons. It cooks it wonderfully with the proper amount of moisture. And smells good too after its done.

I've had the National, Panasonic and the Zojurushi
Fuzzy Logic rice cookers all of which are still operating. Although, they were fine-nothing can beat this baby.

The non-stick titanium coating is much more substantial than any of the others I have used. I can't see this ever peeling; And the weight of the pot assures me that its drop proof which my Panosonic wasn't (Big dent from dropping).

I love the size of this pot---It takes up very little space---I put the Zoji away and now the Sanyo has its honored spot on my counter. I doubt the 10 cup Zoji will get much use from here on out.

I find that the size of the Sanyo prevents me from
cooking more rice than I could use up in days.
I often felt compelled to spend the rest of the week making fried rice and planning whole menu's around left over rice for the week. This is no longer the case.

I like this product so much that if it were not for my plethora of rice cookers I would be tempted to get the 5 cup as well just for the very occasional time I may need more than the three and a half cups. For me though this size is perfect
for the majority of time.

I believe the titanium coating has more advantages over the teflon coating. Easy to use and clean and looks good in our countertop. Good product.

The sanyo rice cooker is easy to use. The rice comes out perfect when you fill to the correct water level. The timer feature is great showing how many minutes remain before the rice is ready. It is a great improvement from our old rice cooker. For our small family the 3.5 cup capacity is just right. Before we were cooking a little rice in a big 10 cup rice cooker. I love the appearance and the small size.

By jennifer b from Undisclosed on 11/21/2005

I bought this rice cooker for my boyfriend for his birthday and we already used it three times to cook white, sushi, and jasmin rice that weekend. Love it! I pretty much bought the least expensive fuzzy logic version I could find and I'd recommend anyone who cooks often. Perfect size to store and enough rice for a couple or small family.
