The Tiger JAT-A55U is excellent. First off it's Made In Japan, a rare product nowadays from that country. The rice did not burn nor was it too wet. Perfect for a small family, couple or like me a single guy. No bad things to talk about at all. If your want quality and space is a issue this is a perfect one to buy...makes a great gift for a newly wed couple (they will remember you for it).

Fixed brown rice and wehani rice. Both came out fluffy.
I am concerned about lithium battery and what will happen when that dies.

I usually use it just to make rice to go under a stir-fry or on the side of a simple dish, and has yet to disappoint me with any kind of rice.

Nice cooker. Much sturdier than our old cooker. The bowl is very thick. Does not cook as fast as our old cooker, but the rice is much better and does not scorch or stick to the bowl.

I always wanted a rice cooker that would keep rice warm for a long time and be the right size for a two person family, I found it! Great Product.

I'm very pleased with the rice cooker. My parents have the same model and recommended it to me. It cooks perfectly and keeps the rice warm all day and it doesn't stick or burn. Wonderful!
