I use this battery as the backup for my Panasonic Lumix 7.0 MP camera. I photograph extensively at home and on trips. I find that a backup battery means that I have a fully charged camera at all times and I never miss that once-in-a-lifetime shot. Unlike my first Panasonic digital camera which had batteries that ran down quickly, this new generation battery is the opposite. As opposed to 30-40 photos on a charge with the earlier model, this one gives me about 250 photos on a charge.

Needed a back up battery for overseas travel. Having had 50/50 experience with generic batteries, I opted for Panasonic's.

No complaints. Performs just as well as the orriginal. I'm glad i didn't buy a no-brand comparable battery. Alwyas go with the real deal, come crunch time you'll be glad you did.
