The voice command is right on, only missing a beat with a lot of background noise. It's great to be able to go directly back to either the main menu screen or map using the voice command, rather than repeatedly pushing the back button. If Garmin could only get the issues with their units locking up/freezing, so that you have to restart the system, it would be a slam dunk. I recommend that you don't leave it on your dash or windshield in the heat, remove it when you hop out of the car, I think the direct sunlight and heat had a lot to do with my last one locking up. It's basically a computer and I wouldn't leave my lap top on the dash.
