It loaded my essential software without a hitch, and with no need for any "installation" nonsense, and I fully expect it will off-load photos from my travel adventures. Wa-hoo for LG: quality and value. [...]Alas, the added software (specifically Nero's LightScribe) wouldn't load. I finally gave up.
