I hook this up to my laptop often to watch streams of sports. The issue is that the picture on the TV is noticeably darker around the edges. Making the picture brighter doesn't change that unfortunately. Adjusting the brightness settings seems to really only increase what is already bright. But the TV by itself is good.

For me it's for the bedroom for casual/occasional use. Not the very best pic I've ever seen, but for the cost [$] it is just great, and can't ask more. Was delivered to the door, no sales tax, fairly light, easy to set-up (the stand must be attached w/4 screws). Worked perfect on power-up, picked up ALL the HD channels in the area (attic antenna) without a hitch.Has not one, but two HDMI inputs.Complaint: Sound (really poor, tinny, metallic), and no on-off switch on the unit, everything is on the remote.If it's not going to have some break-down issues, it was a great buy and a good value for the money.
