I use it as my sound booster. Well, I don't use the sound from my laptop any longer. The product increases the sound a little but not as intensely as I thought it would. It's OK - get your value for money, in a way. Great thing about it is you can orient the sound to yourself. I thought it would have volume controls on it but there's none. Quite a shame.
