My son uses these in his college dorm We bought his original system at Container Store 2 years ago. We went back there to get more storage units and they no longer carry them, nor could they give us any info about the manufacturer or how to get in touch with them. My son went online and just started searching for "over the door media storage" and found these. They are a little different than what he has, but they will work with it beautifully. In fact, my son says these are sturdier than what he already had. I am so glad we found these because it meant we didn't have to start all over with a new system.

I used this product for my dvd collection that was piling up on my dresser. Now my dvd's hang on the back of my door and out of the way!

I really like this product as it makes it easier to find movies and cds that we watch. I bought this so as not to have to double stack the dvd's and cd's in my glass front media storage unit. You really need to buy at least two to start as most of us have more stuff than one unit can handle! I love the idea of making the most of my closet space including the door!

This item is expandable, so I purchased 2 units and they fit together perfectly. They fit over the door, but still allow the door to open over 1/2 way and close all the way. Each shelf also has a metal "bar" across the back so the door is not the only thing holding your CDs and DVDs in/on the shelf. I would (and may) buy more of these and would definitely recommend them.
