gives you plenty of time to ease off the pedal.to bad you can't turn off certain bands that give you false alerts,oh well upgrade i guess

I travel all over NM. There are lots of speed traps especially traveling through the Pueblos. Then we have the cameras and lots of terrain too where staties can hide with their guns. So I hope to keep my ticket history clear with the aid of my new detector. If nothing more it will help to keep my speeding down.

I chose this after much research and am happy with the purchase so far. It is very easy to install and use because it is very basic. I wasn't looking for bells and whistles. It has alerted me to radar far enough in advance for me to ease off the gas. I had read it would not give false alarms in City mode, but I still get false alarms near automatic doors such as at the grocery store.
