I waited for the DC40 to hit the stores versus purchasing another model during the Holiday seaon. It was well worth the wait. It gives you everything it promised in the advertisement. The unit is easy to use if you just want to point and shoot but also gives someone like me the ability to be as creative as I want. The image quality is great for both the video and stills.
