I bought you CXT 395 two way radios, to be used on the open highway, they were good most of the time for only 1/2 mile. I have tried several times to contact your toll free number, I have held the phone for 25 minutes twice with no answer, I even click number one for answers to most questions the reply your office was closed, it was the middle of the day. My question how do you know when they are fully charged? Your manual says the light will go out that is not true. If I cannot get an answer I will return the radios. I can not recommend these at this time.

i buy 1 month ago and they are excellent but batteries are very bad

We bought it for our cruise so we could go our seperate ways but keep in touch with each other. They worked great.

These radios generally work well, but I am not happy with the volume. I have to turn it all the way up (to number 8 - the max) in order to hear. Then the "roger" tone is too loud. Makes using them outside annoying. My older Cobra FRS radios do not have this issue.

Bought 4 of these and they were able to communicate about a half a mile. After that everything was garbled out to 3/4 a mile then would not even break squelch.
