Looks Good, Accurate Weight

Way Off On Body Fat

Best Uses:

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I compared it with several other scales and it was consistent and seemed very accurate at determining weight. It was also very consistent in the other measurements such as Body fat but not accurate. I'm a fairly lean an mucular guy and I don't know what the formula it uses is, but I had the luxury of going to a doctor and he did the whole measurements verses age/weight and what ever else they put into the formula. He came up with 11% Body fat. the Scale consistently put me at 20%. I was further bothered when my roomate who is the exact same height and age as me, but pluse 40-lb's and 6-inches in the waist calculated at 22% consistently. A variance of 2% between us is completly unrealistic, even as good as it made him feel he agreed that it was extremly unlikely. The Scale reports it has a +-3% standerd error which makes this a little more probable but Most body fat measures I have used in the past have setting for athletic builds and average builds this scale does not which may add aditional error for people who are outside the average body build in either direction. Long story short the BMI doesn't work properly for everyone.
