Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I've been using the Edgeport/4 USB-to-RS232 for the last three years to connect external fax modems to our faxserver, and I've yet to experience a single problem with it. It was very easy to install and configure on Windows Server 2003. My only regret is that I should have bought an 8 port instead of 4, which is now why I'm buying another 4 port. I highly recommend this. Kris

So simple to connect and setup.. a dream piece of equipment to tie together disparate pieces of medical equipment to one computer system.
