Be sure to use coordinates from the HD receiver for a quick setup. A helper makes the process go faster since one person needs to communicate signal strength feedback to the adjuster at the dish mount location. A Ku satellite tuner is the best way to avoid this requirement.

I have installed an AT9 dish and found it to be more difficult. Like the AT9, I set up the dish on the ground and used the built in bubble level to plumb the "J-bracket". After setting the dish on the "J-bracket", I rough aligned the azmuth by using the signal levels displayed by our H20 HD receiver. I then selected the weakest transponder on the 103 degree sat and tweaked the azmuth to peak it's signal strength (my son read the signal level). Almost all transponders on all the sats are in the mid to upper 90's with some at 100. I did not have to change the elevation or tilt from my initial settings. It took less than 15 minutes to align the dish.

Easy assembly with tools everyone has. My installation location has easy access, so the girth of this dish was no problem. Room for the new LNB that will come in the future, so my investment is protected there also. MPEG4 is kicking MPEG2's butt!
