This is a great alternative to the cheap-o 35mm disposable film cameras. The camera itself takes nice pictures; don't expect anything professional though. Depressing the shutter button halfway is somewhat difficult when the camera is in the housing; it takes some getting used to. Also, the buttons on the back are very close together and hard to use underwater (delete, menu, review photos, etc.). This is a good camera for the casual diver/snorkeler and great for family photos on vacation.
