I spent months researching laptops before I decided to get the z50 with the i7 4510U processor, 8gb of ram and the full HD display. I wanted something that could handle some bigger programs but still had a solid battery life that was budget friendly. With a lot of PC laptops I looked at I felt like I would pay a lot for fancy hardware and touch screen and whatever but not enough ram and processing power. The lenovo z50 is the perfect balance. I installed a crucial mx100 ssd and it boots in about 6 seconds. My only two complaints-ish is that I couldn't find one of the drivers online for it, and the keyboard flexes a little bit. But I'm definitely satisfied over all and would recommend this computer to anybody.

With my old Dell reaching the end of its life, I was recommended to check out Lenovo by my IT guy. I was pleased to find this Z 50-70 that met all the qualifications and then some. I marked a 4 on features only because I would have preferred to get a product with Windows 7, but I had become familiar with Win 8 at home an it is working out great so far. Also there is a ton of stuff in the free mode that I will be cleaning off because I won't use it, but I think that's probably true for all new units these -- still annoying. I only marked 4 on reliability because you need more than a mother to judge this criteria... So far it has been grand and super fast for my usage... internet and word processing.
