Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I bought this for my Windows Vista laptop because I wanted something small that I could use for Skype. It works pretty good and it swivels to give viewers weird angles. It isn't very good in low light but you get what you pay for I'm sure. It is very close up so don't expect anyone to see the background.It has a neat little picture taking feature and a bunch of settings that I haven't figured out yet. The camera came with a built in microphone but their are no instructions for that component. It's great for the price.
