There is no way to directly access any one song without scrolling through every artist or album. And it doesn't jump alphabetically like the ipod does when scrolling. I have the 160 gb ipod and never have I listened to a song that is in the upper alphabet exept by personalized playlist. If not for the personalized playlist, it would just about be useless for larger iPods. I use my head unit as the amplifier also because it is in a company fleet vehicle. I replaced my Aiwa head unit with the new Panasonic which boast 50 peak watts per channel, but my Aiwa was 45 watts, Sound quality is horrible compared to my old Aiwa, it was 8yrs old, I believe because it is under powered even for factory speakers not mention, I have upgraded my four speakers to after market which I could hardly tell the difference. I have to say for what I use it for, it was a bad purchase.
