I work at home in a studio/workroom situation where space is at a premium. The unit mounted right to the wall with no problem at all. Very handy to my sewing machines/cutting tables. The remote is a nice feature, that takes up little space. The overall sound is great for such a compact unit and it actually plays CD's that my old RCA gave up on! I have tunes again, which makes me a happy and productive person.
