Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I've purchased a dozen of these and given some away to others who also love them. I can easily wear them all day with no problem. Does not impede room sound at all & are great at work for audiobooks -I can still hear all that happens or people talking to me and easy to pop off for telephone. Not good in noisy areas.
